User accounts on Nationeer are optional. While you may browse and access some features without creating an account, certain features—such as tracking your progress, following other players, and using interaction tools—require a registered account.

To create an account, you can log in with Discord, which allows us to collect your Discord ID and email address. You may also choose to provide your Minecraft username to access additional features; this is optional but may limit your access to specific functions if not provided.

2. Permitted Use of the Platform

Nationeer is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the functionality of Nationeer, or any of it's users. Unauthorized access, distribution, or reproduction of any content on Nationeer is prohibited. The data available on our platform is collected using EarthMC's public API, which can be accessed by anyone free of charge here. We are not affiliated with EarthMC or Mojang by any means.

3. User-Generated Content

Nationeer allows users to interact by liking, following, and tracking progress. By participating in these activities, you grant Nationeer a non-exclusive license to display your interactions within the platform. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you post or actions you take comply with our policies and do not violate the rights of others or applicable laws.

5. Limitation of Liability

Nationeer provides its services on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the platform. Nationeer shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

3. Anonymous Usage Statistics

We collect and analyze anonymized usage data to improve the Nationeer experience. These statistics are aggregated and cannot be linked to any individual user. To achieve this, we use Matomo, an open-source, privacy-focused analytics tool hosted on our own servers. This tool is configured to maximize user privacy and adheres to our commitment to secure data handling.

4. Data Storage and Security

All user data, including Discord IDs, email addresses, and optional Minecraft usernames, is stored securely on servers located in Frankfurt, Germany. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Only essential personnel have access to the server, and data access is restricted to only what is necessary for service functionality and maintenance.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account remains active on Nationeer. You may request the deletion of your account at any time, after which your Discord ID, email address, and Minecraft username (if provided) will be permanently removed from our systems.
